Description

This is a simple but effective non-inverting signal amplifier using a single TI TL071 IC (high fidelity, low noise w/JFET inputs) that passes all frequencies and provides up to 20.8 dB of clean gain that does not colour your guitar signal. This is just the ticket for getting that clean boost for leads or you can leave it on all the time which pushes your amp further into saturation giving you that extra punch in your tone. This pedal also acts as a buffer which yields high input impedance and low output impedance, this isolates your guitar from your signal chain and maximizes the output from your guitar pickups. The boost can be used as a line driver which really helps if you are running long cables or using more than a few pedals in a live situation. This pedal does not provide attentuation, with the volume control turned fully counter clockwise you have a unity gain buffered signal.
